Re: Geo Tracker Build Thread

Our 95 Tracker got bent. Took a hit in the drivers side front clip.

I'm thinking about cutting off the IFS and rear stock axles and mounting up some solid axles.

I'm thinking about using stock Jeep axles... that way I could pass tires and wheels to the Tracker from my Jeep.... or both might run the same size eventually....

I've questions about which axles to look for. The 20's and 30's are cheap and might work because the Trackers carry so much less weight from the start....

Any thoughts on this? Know anyone who has done this?

Re: Geo Tracker Build Thread

Nope, not yet, but the body may be making a migration over to a Toyota IFS chasis some time this winter. Plan is to keep the Toyota drivetrain for now. Any one want to buy a reasonably fresh 1.6L motor?

Re: Geo Tracker Build Thread

If it's a 1990, it should be an 8v
